Classroom Behavior Expectations
​
In our classroom, students are expected to follow all rules and essentials.
​
We use ClassDojo for behavior in our classroom.
​
Students will be given positive points throughout the day as well as have points taken away as a consequence when needed.
​
Parents can stay up to date in real time regarding behavior by downloading the ClassDojo app on their phone.
The Essential Eight
​
The Essential Eight is a set of eight character guidelines that I created to enhance not only our learning environment but to help students become great people! Throughout the first eight weeks, I will teach and focus on one Essential each week. Once all eight are taught, students will be held accountable to follow and enforce them.

We follow all of our classroom rules no matter where we are on campus.
​
We always clean up after ourselves in the classroom and in the cafeteria.
​
We always say thank you.
​
No matter what, we are always honest.
​
We do not ask for rewards.
​
We respect eachother's ideas and opinions.
​
We learn from our mistakes and keep moving forward.
​
We congratulate our classmates when they do something awesome!
